In their hunger for a lower score, golfers will try almost anything.  Some want to win more than anything.

Hypnosis has become a “secret weapon” for some winning golfers.  It really works to develop focus and a mental edge.

There’s a under side to hypnotic methods, especially the one I’ll tell you about in a moment, that I have to let you know about.

It’s great to use it to help your own game, but some competitive types take it farther and, not to put too fine a point on it, “help” the rest of the foursome by wielding the power of a certain type of hypnosis.

When they do this, an adversary who’s a great player may find themselves mysteriously missing shots they normally make, having their drives slice into the rough, making poor shot decisions, trying to drive the green when they shouldn’t, or making any number of other such mistakes.

There are innumerable times over the course of 18 holes where a golfer makes choices that affect their score.

We all know that the difference between a good round and a poor one is minuscule.  The least change in a good swing destroys a shot and adds at least a stroke.

It’s up to you to decide the right and wrong of this, but hypnosis does give someone the tools to influence another person’s state of mind in addition to their confidence.  I guess their motto is “All’s fair in love and war and golf.”

Now you can’t actually take over control of another person’s.  For example, you’d never make them do something they find morally wrong.

But you are able to issue embedded commands and create doubt and by doing so definitely influence their mental state.

You probably have played with some character that used tacky ploys like carrying on a mildly heckling conversation while you’re addressing your tee shot, or moving suddenly at the edge of your field of vision while you’re putting or other dumb tricks like that in an attempt to distract you.

Wouldn’t you like to have a “counter-weapon” to strike back with?  That’s what hypnosis can give you.

Conversational hypnosis is especially effective in this regard.  With this type of hypnosis there’s no formal induction.  You definitely don’t swing a watch in front of the subjects eyes.

Instead you simply, but in certain manner.  Once you discover how, it’s easy to induce an “awake trance”.  Then you can insert your guidance and command statement into the flow of the conservation.  This really is a most influential use of words.

An added of learning this technique to help your golf game is that once you know how to use it you can use it in other areas of your life.

People very successfully use hypnosis to improve their relationships, change habits, and attain goals – you can use it for any instance where the power of your subconscious mind could help you.
